This Royalty Payment Policy explains how Waves Music Group ("we", "our", "us") collects, calculates, and distributes royalties to our artists, labels, and rights holders.

1. Royalty Sources

We collect royalties from digital music platforms, including but not limited to:

• Streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, etc.)
  
  

• Download stores (iTunes, Amazon Music, etc.)
  
  

• Video platforms (YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
  
  

• Social media monetization (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  
  

• Any other licensed platforms or services we partner with.
  
  

2. Royalty Calculation

• Royalties are calculated based on reports provided by each platform.
  
  

• Amounts vary depending on territory, subscription type (free/premium), advertising revenue, and platform-specific rates.
  
  

• We deduct applicable administrative fees and platform charges before paying out royalties.
  
  

• Currency conversions are based on bank or payment processor exchange rates at the time of settlement.
  
  

3. Payment Schedule

• Royalties are paid [monthly / quarterly ] after we have received and processed reports from all platforms.
  
  

• Payment is only made once the minimum payout threshold of [e.g., €30 - €100] is reached.
  
  

• Any unpaid balance will roll over to the next payment cycle.
  
  

4. Payment Methods

Note: Payment processing fees charged by banks or payment providers are the responsibility of the payee.

5. Withholding & Deductions

We may withhold royalties in the following cases:

• Fraudulent or artificial streams/sales are detected (see Anti-Fraud Policy).
  
  

• Content violates copyright laws or platform guidelines.
  
  

• Required tax withholdings under applicable laws.
  
  

• Pending disputes or ownership claims.
  
  

6. Taxes

• You are responsible for paying any taxes in your country of residence.
  
  

• We may request tax forms (e.g., W-8BEN, W-9) to comply with international tax laws.
  
  

• If required, we will deduct withholding tax before payment.
  
  

7. Disputes

If you believe there is an error in your royalty report or payment:

• Notify us in writing within 30 days of receiving the statement.
  
  

• Provide supporting evidence (e.g., campaign reports, proof of streams).
  
  

• We will review and respond within a reasonable time.
  
  

8. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with the "Last Updated" date.
